LLC “Severstal Pipe Profile Plant-Sheksna” is an enterprise that produces round, square and rectangular pipes with a cross-sectional diameter from 127 mm to 426 mm.
It is a unique production facility for the North-West of Russia in terms of equipment composition and order fulfillment capabilities. The major consumers of the products of the TPZ are the enterprises of the construction industry.
The project was implemented on the territory of the industrial park “Sheksna”. The volume of investments is about 150 million dollars. PAO Severstal is the sole owner.

History
On September 27, 2007, 47 kilometers from Cherepovets, the foundation stone was laid for the first enterprise of the Sheksna Industrial Park — a pipe-profile plant that produces round, square and rectangular pipes of various diameters.
2008-2009 — zero cycle (foundations) and erection of metal structures.
On June 4, 2010, the grand opening of PAO Severstal TPZ-Sheksna took place, a production facility that is unique in the North-West of Russia in terms of equipment composition and order fulfillment capabilities.Yury Osintsev, Deputy Minister of Regional Development of Russia; Vyacheslav Pozgalev, Governor of the Vologda Oblast; Aleksey Mordashov, CEO of PAO Severstal, and Anatoly Kruchinin, Head of the Division, CEO of Cherepovets Steel Mill participated in the opening ceremony of the enterprise. “The commissioning of the pipe-profile plant in Sheksna is the progressive implementation of our strategy for the development of high processing stages. In addition, this will allow us to redirect HRC-2 rolled products from export spot markets to the domestic Russian market, which is strategic for the company,” said Anatoly Kruchinin.
In July 2010 the first batch of products was shipped.
According to customer reviews, products of such high quality appeared on the market of the North-West region for the first time.
